Writing prompts for fiction writing. Write a short story or develop it into a longer one. The idea is still to get ideas and free the brain off any clutter. Try these:

She felt the cold metal against her head. She revelled in the sensation that death was so close. She waited expecting something more dramatic to happen. Isn’t death supposed to be a profound experience? But there was emptiness. As she concentrated on the sensation of metal everything else. Metal was such a profound discovery, right from weapons to music metal had played its role and it continued to do so. Everything had its place and role to play. So perhaps it was not wise to judge everything as good or bad but to accept things as they were. She laughed lightly and put the gun down. But a shot rang out and the choice had just been taken out of her hands. She felt the life ebb out of her. She bore no ill will toward the evil face that leered at her. She smiled and closed her eyes, weakly raising her hand in forgiveness. That wiped the smile off his face
